Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how the GameHeart Drops mobile app (the "App") collects, uses, and protects your data.

What we collect

• Discord account data — when you sign in via Discord OAuth, we receive your Discord username, user ID, and avatar URL. We do not receive your email or password.
• Device push token — to deliver push notifications. Stored on our server, associated with your Discord ID.
• In-app preferences — the stores/categories you've enabled, the products you've muted, your tap-action preference. Stored locally on your device and (for filters) on our server so they sync across devices.

What we do NOT collect

• Email address, phone number, name, location
• Browsing history outside the app
• Photos, contacts, files, calendar

How we use it

• Discord data — to identify your account and check which Discord roles you have, which determines what features you can access.
• Push token — to send you real-time drop notifications.
• Preferences — to filter which drops you see and get notified about.

Sharing with third parties

• Apple (APNs) and Google (FCM) — push notifications are delivered through their platforms. We pass the notification content and your push token to them.
• Discord — we use Discord's OAuth API to verify your identity, but this is initiated by you and uses Discord's own login flow.
• We do not sell your data to advertisers or share it for marketing.

Data retention

Your session token expires automatically after 7 days. Your push token and filter preferences are kept while your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is removed within 30 days.

Data security

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Sessions are token-based and stored encrypted on-device.

Children

The App is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Your rights

• Access / Delete — you can request a copy or deletion of your data via the account deletion page.
• Withdraw consent — logging out of the app removes the session token from your device.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the app or via Discord.
